Every single person on this planet has at least one secret that could break your heart. If we could just remember that, there would be a lot more compassion and tolerance in the world

Blessed With Opportunities

Once again I have found myself in the bad habbit of focusing on the problems in my life. Yes I have medical problems and things don't always go how I planned but I have been so incredibly blessed over the past few months that I have NO right to complain.
First I am blessed to be at BYU. I didn't expect to fall in love with this school because anyone who knows me well will tell you I'm not the overly religious type, but I love the people here. Don't listen to the stereotypes people say about BYU students, for the most part they are completely false! There are great loving people here and I have had an amazing year.
Second I am blessed to have been accepted into the BYU Music Dance Theatre program. Its an incredible program with great teachers and its not easy to get accepted. I'm so excited to start my first year in the progra this comming august!
Third I just closed a musical CASEY AT THE BAT at BYU. It was an amazing experience to be a part of that talented cast. It is a once in a lifetime opportunity to get to workshop a brand new musical that has never been performed before. I can always say I originated a role in a musical now!!!
Fourth as if I hadn't had enough amazing things happen I was accepted into the BOSTON CONSERVATORY OF MUSICAL THEATRE!!! For those of you who don't know what that is, it is in the top 5 for music theatre schools in the country. It is like the Julliard of musical theatre. Thousands auditioned all over the world and twenty five boys were accepted and I was one of those lucky ones! I may not be attending because the price is so high (but keep your fingers crossed for possible scholarships) but I'm honored and blessed to have been accepted either way!
Fifth I GOT A SUMMER JOB! I will be in the ensemble of the WEDDING SINGER at Hale Center Theatre. I get forty dollars a night to do what I love and the show runs for two months in an absolutely beautiful professional theatre!
Sixth and most importantly, I have friends and family who care for me. I couldn't be doing any of these exciting things without their love and support. They are the greatest and most important blessing in my life.
